Talking Fitting 22's under 2005 XJ8

Hi looking for some advise from members that have fit staggered 22's under XJ8. The back wheels fit fine but the fronts are having clearance problems with the upper control arm bolt. It looks like i need to trim the excess threads.
Has anyone had this problem and what did you do? I cant remember the size of the front tires (not at shop) but they are on 9" rims and are 30 series height. They fit width wise but not height because of upper control arm bolt. I will get more pics tomorrow.
I have never seen wheels that have the TPMS drilled into the back of the wheel. More pics to come.
Side note
Please don't ask me why, this car is going in my collection and wont get 500 miles a year put on it. I bought the wheels 2nd hand for a great price and I REALLY like the looks of them

on it.

Dal290la, Please realize that you are in the wrong forum with an XJ8. This is the X351 current XJ forum. On a side note, my opinion is that you're making your XJ8 look cool with those wheels but absolutely destroying the fine ride of the older XJ8s with the low profile stiff side wall tires that go with those wheels.

They do look good! I love that car and its color. My old XJ8 was that topaz color. Good luck with those hard riding tires and wheels, though. A lot of us guys in the X351 Forum have tried and wish we could put an 18" wheel like you had on our XJs just to get a softer ride with a higher sidewall tire. Maybe we could get one of our moderators to transfer your thread to the XJ8 Forum.

Lol 😅 have you personally rode in a car with custom wheels?
the ride is not as bad as you guys keep mentioning. I still have stock wheels on my XJ and 22s on my Mopar. Its not that huge of a difference.
Then again, our roads in FL are pretty smooth.
