Hi all, new here! Got a 2011 XJL. When I start the car i get a yellow warning light saying forward alert not available! In return the cruse controle nor the acc works any suggestions?

 

I hate to say this. You can't imagaine how much I hate to say it...but...welcome to owning a jag. My car has (2016 XJR) has performed flawlessly, except a reoccurring "IEB system not available, forward alert not available, emergency brake malfunction" series of warnings, that happen OCCASIONALLY. It has been in 3 separate times for service. They can't figure it out.

 

could be the sensors are obstructed, failing, or mis-aligned - have seen it a few times
