Did you have to modify the suspension to fit the 24's? Do they clear the upper A-Arms? Thanks!

No modifications were needed and no rubbing whatsoever. I've been told that one piece wheels in a 24 will rub badly and require some cutting of the inner fender at the least. 3 piece wheels will not rub. Apparently the offset is slightly different in the 3 piece vs 1 piece wheels.

I've been doing a lot of thread reviving lately. Sorry about that in advance.

However, I was wondering if anyone knew if the front grille and surround are the same dimensions from 2009-2015, and 2016-2018+? I know the bumper covers themselves are different but I'm wondering about the larger grille and Jaguar emblem themselves.

The emblem is recessed in the earlier models and I'm trying to find a way to upgrade my emblem size from 70mm to 85mm at the same time that I change my grille. It took a rock at highway speeds and it's now dented in the surround. It would be great to get two birds with one stone.

I don't mind the old front end but boy would I love to upgrade to those J blade headlights. But they're over $1,000 each!

Default Upgrade Desired: Advice Please!

Greetings everyone! I’m so thankful that I came across this form and have been watching it for sometime to get valuable information. This is my first time posting!

I have a 2011 jaguar XJ that I work hard to keep in good condition. However I would definitely like to do the conversion/upgrades to the front bumper and headlights to the 2016 - 2019 version. Z20 your before and after photos are awesome!! Over the next few days I will contact the person who you are have recommended, Waleed, to get quotes about this job. I do have a few questions for you if you could please help:

1) Do you know if the 2016 and 2019 versions have the same specs for the front bumper and headlamps? I’d like to upgrade to the most recent version if the specs are the same and they are compatible with my 2011.

2) When the parts arrive would you all suggest me finding a specialized body shop for this or is this considered a pretty basic job? About how much should I expect to pay in service charges to have the fronts switched out?

Thanks so much for any advice that you can provide. Below are a few pics of how my car looks now...(the third pic is when I had the low profile forgiotos but they got too much damage easily)...

I like the conversion, but have no idea who Waleed is or how to get in touch with him! I know it has been asked already a couple of time, but probably missed! Any info to contact him would be appreciated....

That seemed like a hassle. My advice to you is to find a "complete" bumper assembly on eBay that has the grille, emblems etc. Pick one that is in the best shape cosmeticly as possible to save having to do body work prior to painting. That will help with the price as well. I have done this to my 2014 and would be happy to answer any questions you have.
Any help with which models will fit a 2012 XJ? Do all models fit?
