Default Front Right Side Noise

Hi,
Have a 04 XJ with 75K on it. Have already had new struts put on, then main control arm, then lower arm. Both new struts have also been replaced. Put on computer, and doesn't show anything. My Tech has checked all front end brushings, arms on both sides, etc. and everything is tight, but the noise is still there. Oh, the noise is on bumpy roads, or when turning right and valley in road or going up ddriveway. Any other thoughts of what this could be? It's driving me nuts, and he's had the car for a week now. Thanks.

Suggest you post this in the X350 forum, as this one is for the XJs from 2009 onwards.

You said it was an 04', he was saying this particular section of jaguarforums.com is for cars 2009 and up. Even if yours was a typo and it's an 08, you still would have better chances with the other section.

Actually the X351 is 2011 and onwards. They didn't make an XJ in 2010 since the new XJ was delayed until 2011.

I think there is a bulletin for a modification to the front bumper supports or crush tubes, I dont remember exactly it has been quiet a few years since I encountered it. I will go see if I can find the bulletin and post it.

Thanks, any information would be helpful. The garage has had the car there for 2 weeks, and was having a body shop guy come over to look at it next.

The bulletin is jtb00002. It involves adding screw to the front crush tubes behind the front bumper support. May suggest either having it done at a dealer or authorized aluminum repair bodyshop. There is also the possibility the brake calipers or brake pads are making the noise.
