Does anyone know when & how Jaguar updates the maps in our cars? I'm sure it's a software download that would have to be done at the dealer. I just got a reminder notice from Mercedes to update mine which is dvd based for $250. RIP OFF!

 

Last update (xj6 2003 - 2006 model) in the UK was 2010.

it's definitely a software download - in fact, you can get it directly from diagnosticdelivery.com - /IDSCentral/ although I have no idea what's involved in upgrading / installing
