I came to get into my car this morning and found when I close the door it wont shut, is it something to do with the latch?

anyone else had this problem?

I cant drive it at the moment and cant leave it as the alarm keep going off as its thinking the door is open

Thanks I've sorted the problem out now, I rang jag and they told me it's a common fault they have known about for a few years... basically it freezes in the cold weather

 

Can you manually operate the lock, with the door open? (i'd use a screwdriver for this, not your finger)
