Higher mileage X351's
Hey everyone,
I'm wondering if there are any X351 owners here who have higher mileage XJ's and how well the cars are holding up now in terms of long term reliability?
What I mean is, are the higher mileage cars trouble free or are there little annoyances that are starting to pop up?
Any 100,000 mile plus owners?
Thanks,
Nick

Talked to a guy with 115,000 miles on his 2011 XJL. Still loves the car, but just replaced all 4 struts. Cost $6000.00 US. He seamed fine with the cost and plans on keeping it. Other than that, a reliable car he said.
I think the original question posted by Nick may refer to current V-6 models with on-off engines. But I'm just guessing. Perhaps Nick could clarify.
Whoops, I see in his profile he has a 5.0 L NA.
Fronts are coil-overs and rears are air springs

John each strut has the shock absorber built into it that is electrically controlled to adjust the damping rate. As in any shock absorber they wear out over time and the ride can become bouncy and less controllable, so you then replace them. I hope this explanation makes sense.
has auto start stop been pinpointed as causing issues?
