I picked up a Jag XJ Portfolio
Hey XJ (X351) friends,
I just wanted to drop by and say hi to you all, recently picked up a XJ 3.0d Portfolio as my daily driver. (I have a Lexus SC 430 for the weekend/sunny days).
The car has been good so far, I have drove about 3,000 miles in it so far since March 2022, including a long drive to Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The only issue so far is that the aircon doesn't work, its been diagnosed as the pipes have leaked so it is booked in for repair.
Great car, achieving about 35mpg combined, 47 mpg recorded on dash on a motorway run.
I look forward to chatting to you fellow X351 owners.
Regards,
Thomas

Here is a video I made on the XJ if anyone wishes to see my car in more depth? If anyone knows the official colour of my car I would be grateful as I couldn't see it on the car or in my logbook.
Hi,
Your colour looks very much same than mine; Vapour Gray.
You can check all your XJ details by registering on JLR TOPIX and adding VIN nr.

Hi tom . welcome to Jaguar forums , The best Jaguar forum on the web . This forum is not just USA based but users from all, over the world use it , But Jaguar s biggest market is the USA were it is Gas powered (petrol) versions they drive , the petrol versions get less bother to be truthful than the Diesel versions whom can be a lot of trouble with turbos and throttle bodies as well as Dpf problems there is quite a big list to tell, the truth and really to avoid . At some point you may hit them , I would recommend you join jaguarforum it is a UK based forum were plenty Diesel drivers of this model frequent for better Advice , As a long time owner of Jaguars i also can point you in the direction of a few good dealers in Scotland . Taggerts get a good name so do pentland , taggarts have moved to Breahead and Pentland Stirling is not far , Also a few Indys , One is mac Millan in Motherwell and another also in Stirling but google that up as i have forgot their name . Prestige in paisley used to be good but have had a few bad reviews as they hire cheap labour but charge more than taggarts i am told it pays to get a few quotes
good luck and happy jagging

Yes . But in the states you drive real jaguars not polluting soot burners whom are the most cause of global warming , you should look on the UK based forum man it's full of problems from Diesel cars
