interior fabric colour matching dye...?
OK - not sure if this is 'do-able' but I have a rather annoying mark on the interior fabric. It's basically been bleached at some point so it's white rather than dark.
Does anyone know of any previous attempts at colour matching with a dye so I can resolve this?
Does anyone out there (even Jaguar!?) do a dye that would match?
Oh - it's ivory by the way!
many thanks

Hi Graham,
thanks for replying. Have been on/off the forums for quite a while but am more of a browse than a poster...
.... tips well received unfortunately I'm looking at the fabric roof liner as opposed to the leather of the seats / trim.
However - I may well look at these sites again soon to tidy up the seats as I seem to have spent enough money on everything else they might as well get their share!
regards
Neil

Neil,
Several members have had roof liner issues on a number of Jaguar models. The usual problems are staining or the fabric becoming detached from the baseboard when the adhesive fails in warmer climates than ours.
I can't recall seeing posts on successful recolouring of the fabric. Most have ended up replacing it.
