Default iPhone 4S

I just synched my iPhone 4S with the jaguar Bluetooth and it works perfect, contacts all transferred perfectly and fast. The iPhone 4S has the new Bluetooth version 4.0 and I was a little worried it might not work but it did without a glitch also the music streaming sound quality has improved and lists the song information on the car display. Siri the voice assistant feature in the phone also works through the Bluetooth system as well. The Siri voice sounds almost identical to the one in the XJ.

I hope they get along and don't kill each other.

I have a 4 and been having some minor problems since upgrading to ios5.

The music will turn on when I am on a call if I am hardwired to the phone. There is no way to turn it off from the car side so I have to fumble for the phone to pause whatever it decided to play. Also there seems to be a tendency now for the phone to cut off music as I drive for reasons yet to be determined. Reconnecting the hard connection solves it but it never happened before the update.

It's cool that Suri works though. I would not have expected that.

The older phones are not meant to be upgraded. Apple makes them slow down you old phone so much you get fed up with it and buy a newer one. It's a business practice they have been long criticized for which is why my friends never update their ios unless they get the new phone, and why i've always gotten android lol

When I got phone calls on my phone it use to pause the music then start again after the call is over. Now the music keeps playing until I pause it myself. Ugh.

This is probably a software glitch that they'll fix with an update. iPhone 4's should work perfectly with ios5. I'm updating mine tonight so we'll see.
