Default Jaguar ipad holder that connects to the front seat.

I need ipad holders that connect to the front seats for my back seat passengers (Children). Does anyone one have a source? My local dealer wanted $500 for a pair. Seems like a big Jag tax.

Any Dealers on this board that offer discounts??
Extended warranty discounts?

Has anyone purchase these ipad holders?
If I have to pay $500, a positive or negative review would be helpful or it would let me know to look for another option.

Thanks!

Default This can work even if JLR won’t say it will!

So this Jaguar Part #T2H7757 and supposedly for 2017 to 2022 XE, XF & F-Pace. (The box that this came in says 2012 right on the Jaguar part label.)
I installed this. I’ll let you know if it fits other tablets besides the iPad (9.5”x6.7” — 2nd to 5th generation.) However, there’s a Samsung galaxy tablet that’s almost exactly the same size, but I don’t know about the thickness. Most of the tablets on display in retail outlets have antitheft devices so you can’t just snap one in to see if it will fit. I may have to go to a dealer or repair place to see if they have (even some dead ones.) ones that I can see what fits.

I will report back once I have a complete answer. BTW, The Jaguar iPad holder was around $50 vs. the one supposedly for the XJ ‘Click and Play’ is several hundred!!!

I don’t have an iPad or other tablet yet but I went ahead and preliminarily mounted it and it fits fine. I think the newer part number is possibly the same as this but this is not the Click and Play collection. Nonetheless, the tablet holder slides into the mounting bracket and can be removed just as easily. It’s a deep enough slot on the top where the iPad goes in so it’s not going to come loose. Installed on my 2012 XJL

Default OOPS!!!

OK maybe I shouldn’t of made this post until I actually got my tablet. I was going by the information included with the tablet with a link to a post on the web from JLR. I’m guessing there is a different version with the same part number just like in my 2013 XJ accessories catalog. There’s a part number that now says it’s for later model XJ’s. #C2Z22935

I believe that is in error. The one I got was a part number said it was for the XF/XE/F-Pace had “2012” on the box. JLR’s‘s online fitment information claims it’s for newer iPads (As well as newer Jaguar). The earlier model is a slightly larger size as after I got my iPad, I found that I need either a third generation or fourth generation iPad. The later models will fit fifth and sixth generation iPads. (Obviously not second through fourth generation as those fit my earlier version of the iPad seat holder.)

And I’m going to throw a educated guess out there that the ‘Click and Play’ system is for even newer (iPad) models.

So if you’re buying used, it’s important to find out if there’s a year on the Jaguar Parts identification on the box there was nothing on the label on the plastic bag that contains the parts.
