My Jag came with an Alpine sound system, looking to upgrade it while probably keeping the original head unit, any ideas???

2003 was a model change year for the XJ.

I can be absolutely certain you do NOT have a fourth generation XJ X351 (2019-2019). You could have either the steel bodied X308 (1997-2003) or the aluminium bodied X350 (2003-2009). Please confirm which it is and I'll move your question to the relevant forum.
