Hello Jaguar Family!

I am always looking to upgrade my 2013 XJL Portfolio into modern time (i.e. 2021) and I stumbled upon this contraption:

It's a way to add level 2 autonomy to any vehicle! I thought this was terrific as I know that since we are already adding Tesla head units and extra exterior sensors, this would be of interest. The crazy part about this unit is that the software is OpenSource and is well maintained. I'm looking into buying this and seeing how I can pull the unit apart to have the driver monitor be somewhere near the cluster gauge or just move the whole unit into the driver's line of sight by doing a HUD unit. What are some of your thoughts?

 

Comma has 15 employees and $8M. It's a private company, created by a famous hacker who's since left. Tesla OTOH has been at this for millions of miles and billions of dollars, and their cars still crash into parked vehicles.
