Default Melting Fuel Flange Connectors

With inconsistent idle speed and periodic stalling, I found that the V+ from the fuel flange to the fuel pump had melted due to an over-current condition (I did not measure the current). P.S. after repairing the connector, the issue is still there. P.P.S. stalling was due to dirty MAF sensors, but sure glad I found this overheating issue near in the fuel tank.

Has anyone else seen this melting?

Yes it's a known and reported problem. Sometimes it's the ground pin the melts and burns. Seen it more on XF's.
