L80ous, you may want to look at the sunroof to make sure that when you open/close it, that it does so smoothly. They were known to pop and make an ugly sound. The other problem I have heard of is the door latch loops on the B pillar will corrode where the loop attaches to the body, leading to a potential weakness in an accident. This will be evident by the paint looking like someone shoved some cauliflower under the paint (it will look bubbly).
YOu may want to also play with the nav system and see if it meets what you may want. The early systems were known to be slow and pushing the screen to enter data was more difficult than it should have been. There is a fix for this should you want to upgrade the screen in the radio to a newer version. There is a posting here on how to do that.
Otherwise, you are going to enjoy the ride.

This should answer all the questions you may have about the screen upgrade.

Well the car was epic, loved every bit of it, really nice did all my checks all but one came through, that being a small rattle comming from the sun roof which I was pointed to look out for due to this forum so thanks for that guys. The rattle is hardly audioble even less with the sunroof screen shut (obviously goes away with the sunroof open a little), I took it down some country road to see if I could make it worse or pop and it didn't. So it's only very minor, I checked inside with the roof open there was a very small amount of bubbling from corrosion on one side next to none of other side but it was dirty, hopefully a clean up and some lube on the contacting rubbers will cure it (they are going to attempt this). If not what do you guys surgest to fix it?? Might try some Vasaline as surgested in another thread on here.
This being the only minor problem and a common one at that I could find after checking over the car for 1.5 hours I decided to pull the trigger I have to be realistic a 6 year old car isn't going to be 110%. Really nice condition inside and out, got him down £250 including 6 months good warranty (checked this for what it's worth) and a full rotary polish and detail. Collecting next Friday excited is an understatment.
