Need advice on wing mirror replacement
hi All,
it happened...........I just barely hooked the right wing mirror on the garage door trim while backing out. The only thing apparently broken is the bezel around the housing which is part of the chassis that has the motors, not available separately. everything else is good and all functions work. Where in the US is a good used mirror supplier, what should I expect to pay and how do I get to the mounting fasteners? This is a 2011 XJL supersport.

I assume you're referring to the mirror mounted on one of the doors.
Check the procedure in the Workshop Manual for removing the mirror.
Look on eBay and check with some of the vendors listed under the 'Marketplace' drop-down menu who sell used parts.

You can access the X351 Workshop Manual via TOPIx after you register and pay a fee:

Seems the Topix is for garage owners in GB, can I access if I register from the US? I’m not in the of repair, just need some instruction. What is the approximate cost of access?

It's $16 for the service manual download. I'd rather have a paper copy but for $16 I'll suffer a little bit.
It seems shady when your waiting for an Email but it worked for me and after all $16 is only lunch for some not a big deal if it was a ripoff.

TOPix is fine.
However, if you look on the "other" Jag site - the UK oriented one - you will see a guide I wrote in the stickies section for removing doorcard. I suspect from there, mirror removal will be obvious
