Incidentally I had a similar issue when I first bought my car. It turned out the engine air filters were clogged, causing the restricted performance. It was unsettling knowing the seller hadn’t even checked/ replaced the air filters. But all is well now. Hopefully your problem is similarly simple.
That is scary. Could you possibly start a new thread and describe the problem /post the codes you got? It helps everyone know what problems are possible and their ultimate solutions.
yes I’ll post a new thread with the codes and an explanation of the symptoms in the next few days and I’ll post link to it here.

I’m hoping it’s a one time glitch, I’ve never had these codes before and after a clear AND A BATTERY SWAP they haven’t come back.
I’ll post details on the symptoms in a new post though.
That kinda sounds like the throttle position sensor issue on the old 4.2 engines. In the old days, the only way to fix it was to replace the entire throttle body but I believe the sensor itself can now be sourced. I've never heard of it happening on a 5.0 though.

its a weird issue, only happens when I’m turning right at speeds I’d 55 to 60. Happened again today
If you have the 433MHz TPMS sensors, the part number is SE52076. Just like the 315MHz ones I referenced above, these are made specifically for Jaguar/ Landrover (not universal). They come preprogrammed, so the shop shouldn’t do anything. If they decide the sensors absolutely need go through relearning, there is a method on the VDO website. But again, they shouldn’t need to do anything.

I recently sold my X350 for 50% higher than Kelley Blue Blook. The buyer knew he was paying more but was very happy because I had all the expensive stuff taken care of (air struts, brakes, battery, new fluids, etc,...) and he didn't have to worry about a thing for 1000's of miles.
That's what I'm looking for in my next Jag. A cream puff from a private seller with no headaches.
What would be programmed in a TPMS wheel sensor?
And how do you program it?
It means it is pre-programmed to recognize and communicate correctly with the detector of the car. You can find the relearn/ reset information for the VDO sensors I referenced at the site listed below.
Did you figure out which TPMS you need? I re-read the return conditions for TPMS.com, and unfortunately they won’t take back mounted sensors. They only take unopened ones back. That’s the same as Rock Auto.Last I checked Rock Auto was cheaper.
So no real guarantee. Though they do say if you call with your VIN and Jaguar part number, they will guarantee fitment of their recommended part. I don’t know what that guarantee looks like though.
I gained access to the TPMS receiver today to make sure it was plugged in and to see what codes I would get if I unplugged it. The receiver showed codes only when unplugged so I’m going to say the receiver is probably good. While I was there I took a picture of the module which clearly states 315mhz on it. So, I’ve got my answer there now I need to make sure I have 315mhz sensors. I want to say that the mechanic said I have the 433mhz installed.

Someone else just listed this as being a solution in another thread about the situation. I think you are on point with your input.

Get the 315MHz sensors I linked. They are made by Continental, same as your module. That means they are the OEM. Don’t let others scare you into paying full price.
