Default Ongoing Injector Saga..Cleaning Didn't Work

I sent my Bank 1 injectors (1, 3, 5, 7) after getting a Cyl 1 misfire and Cyl 1 injector code off to Injector RX for cleaning. They returned cleaned and tested. Installed, fired up, and now I'm getting a Cylinder 5 misfire (although no injector code). I'm not sure if that was the original Cylinder 1 injector that was bad, but they all spray tested fine according to Injector RX.

Is it possible I have one faulty injector? I guess I should replace that one. SDD confirms a massive misfire on Cylinder 5, but the only MIL is an engine code.

My refusal to pay $3k for a local shop to do this is really adding up...good thing I have 6 cars and lifts as this has been going on 2 months already. Never again with a GDI engine.

You should have marked the injectors before cleaning.

i’d swap the number 5 injector with another one: if the error follows the injector in its new cylinder you’d have the culprit.

Swapped 5 to 1, yes now cylinder 1 is misfiring. New injector on the way.
