Thumbs up Online Owner's Manuals

You can find the owner's manuals online in this location:

http://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/extf...prod/index.jsp

The updated Owner's Handbook is Part Number JJM 18 02 34 111. If your car has had the software update, that manual includes the TMC description in the Navigation chapter.

The Owner's Handbook, Quick Start Guide, and Handbook Supplement are available for viewing.

This link is sticky'd in the other model forums, perhaps the administrator can do the same here?

Hi Guys, We'll happily update/create a FAQ for this forum section. Snag is we need something to put into it.

So if you do have information, how to's, etc, that you think would be useful and worthy of FAQdom please submit it/them for consideration.

In the meantime, I have not had much time to have a good look through the site in the link above, but at first reading, I would suggest that this is not a Jaguar approved site.

The disclaimer at the bottom does not equal Copyright © 2010 Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC. When you read through both sets.

Happy to be corrected.

The webpage link in post# 1 (posted by breakeven) has a problem http://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/extf...prod/index.jsp and brings up a blank page.

Use webpage link:
http://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topix/vehicle/lookupForm to get to the Topix model/year selection webpage.

Then model selection - use first line dropdown and select your model (X250/XF), then use second line dropdown and select your model year (2011), then click on the find button.

On the webpage screen, click the owner in the top right menu, then on the right side of the screen - click on Owner's Handbooks.

On the next screen - look on left side of screen click on Owner's Handbooks. The drop down menu give 2 choices (Owner's Handbook; Quick Start Guides).

Click on Owner's Handbook and it brings up the screen to Select a document. It shows 3 documents available for viewing (see lower section of screen).
The documents are:
JSA 18 02 40 111 - SUPPLEMENT - Introduction of a ski hatch on certain models (JJM 18 02 40 111)
JJM 18 02 40 112 - OWNER’S HANDBOOK - XF
JJM 18 02 40 111 - OWNER’S HANDBOOK - XF
Click on the document you want to view.

The 2 documents are owner's handbooks and I do not know why there are 2 of them???
JJM 18 02 40 112 - OWNER’S HANDBOOK - XF has 51 sections (PDF files) to download.
JJM 18 02 40 111 - OWNER’S HANDBOOK - XF has 52 sections (PDF files) to download

The other supplement document is 2 pages long (title page and the Ski information page). When you click on these documents a one line section comes up with 4 icons at the end of the line. Use the last icon (looks like a monitor - says maxiumize when you put your mouse pointer on it) to open the PDF file.

You can go back to the document selection screen then looking at the right side of the screen, click on the Quick Start Guides under Owner's Handbooks (/Owner's Handbook). The next screen will give you the one line screen with the 4 icons on it. Click on the maxiumize icon, brings up the 11 sections (PDF files) to download.

There is also the Service Information (under Owner's Handbooks). This will bring up the Passport to Service documents - 16 sections (PDF files) to download.

I know this is a lengthly posting, but I wanted to make sure I covered all of the instructions on how to download the documents.

Hope this helps

Jim Lombardi

The thread is eight years old!

Jaguar TOPIx is alive and well:
https://topix.jaguar.jlrext.com/topi...cle/lookupForm

You will need to register to access Owner's Handbooks but that section is free to use. Older models are still on TOPIx. Current models will give a re-direct to:
https://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/
