Only One Headrest Monitor Powers On
Could this be a fuse? Owners manual does not address headrest monitors. The right side works for dvd, usb, and my media...nothing on the left side.
According to the front main unit, the monitor is set to on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had exactly the same issue, but I am ashamed to say that I never found out was wrong - I took it to my dealer, and they fixed it but they never told me what they did (other than hinting at a loose connection).
Hi Rodney,
The fuse for the headrest power supply is shared across the RSE (central fuse box, F67-15A), so if one side is working then it is not a fuse.
Likewise the power wiring is spliced to each seat after the RSE module (the on/off signal is done over CAN), so it is not going to be that. The issue must be seat-side.
I would start by ensuring that the screen is not intentionally turned off via the remote or the front touch screen as they can be independently disabled.
If you are sure that isn't the problem then check the connectors. The first can be accessed without disassembly. Below I am assuming a LHD car driver seat (left hand seat) from your location.
C33-Z is for the headrest comms signals and power. It is an 8 way grey connector. Pin 1 (yellow with blue stripe) is B+. Pin 4 (black) is GND. You should have 12VDC across those pins.
Adjust seat base fully up and back. Using a mirror if needed check the connector is sound. If they appear so then disconnect and reconnect and then test if the problem persists.
The connector is shown in the attached PDF to help you locate it. It is apparently the connector nearest to the transmission tunnel. Be careful not to accidentally disconnect the airbag connector, and as a precaution make sure ignition is off for 2 mins after adjusting the seat position for access.
If there is not 12VDC across B+/GND then disconnect the connector and test the car side again, with the passenger screen turned on so you know the power is active. If still no power with it disconnected then you have a fault in the wiring between that connector and the splice that splits it for each screen. SPL260/262 are approx 1.3m back from the C33-Z connector, which puts it where the cable trays split either side of the transmission tunnel underneath the carpet that covers the top of it behind the rear vents. To access you need to remove both front seats, the rear seat base, the lower B and C pillar trims, and then you can lift the carpet out of the way.
If there is 12VDC at C33-Z then there is another connector at the base of headrest (C33-AB), and another in the headrest itself behind the screen (C3MR01B). Check both in the same way. Pins are shown in the attached EWD, and instructions for getting access to them are in the attached WSM steps.
If all test ok then suspect the screen assembly is faulty and replace. They are cheaper from Land Rover and Jaguar, but I don't have the part no to hand. You can find them used on eBay and from car breakers for much less money.
Regards,
Dave

Unbolted the seat, unplugged and re-plugged each connector, it now works!
Xdave, many thanks for all the help you provide to this forum!
