Default Phosphor blue illumination in front and rear air vents

Hi Guys:

You probably know that this is part of the optional illumination package.

Anyone know if it is possible to put this on an XJ that does not have this package, what's involved and what the cost is likely to be?

Thanks - Roger

I would like to have it as well but I am not sure if the dash would have to be taken apart to replace and if they wiring harness already exist. The easiest way to find out is to call the service dept.

I would think that the 2012s would have the harness, as it is an option with the illumination pack. On the 2011s, you had to get a SuperSport to have the lit vents. This is my speculation, though.

Curious to what the service department tells you.

I would think as well that the supercharged version would have the same wiring harness as the Supersport based on them mechanically being the same car. It would seem as if having multiple wiring harnesses would be cost unproductive.
