Power Seat Stuck Fully-Down, Fully Back

Hello,

Vehicle: 2001 Jaguar XJ8 VDP

The title says it all. This happened while I was driving- the seat started going berserk, (forward, backwards, up, down, flipping forward, etc.) coming to a rest in the fully-down, fully-back position. .

Whats working: Lumbar.

Whats not: everything else.

Ideas so far:
- module is damaged/ dirty (want to switch module but cannot reach rear hex bolts to remove the seat.)

Im trying to get some idea as to how to approach this... keep in mind I cannot move the seat up and forward to access the rear bolts.

Wrong forum you may need to repose at x308 to get proper assistance also going to the new member forum to properly introduce yourself and your Jaguar is highly suggested. Also learning how to make a signature like mine is really appreciated by our members.
