My rear seatbelt is loose, what can i do to fix it ? Jaguar Xj x351.

 

Vladm69, lets clarify what you mean by loose. If you are talking about the metal loop that goes under the seat being loose, allowing the latch to move around freely, then that should be nothing more than removing the seat and most likely using a T55 torx bit to tighten it. If you are talking about the buckle being loose in the latch, then that is pretty much needing to buy a new latch. If the belt is simply not pulling tight, then this is most likely the retainer that stores the belt and you would need to get a new one of those. Sounds like the spring in the retainer is failing(failed) and is not pulling back like it should.
