My 2014 XJ has just a plain flat carpeted floor. I have seen some with cargo rails to keep the bottom of stuff off the carpet. Looks like this;



Was this an option or used on some different years? Looks like it might be useful and kind of finishes off the trunk some too.

The trunk rails were standard equipment through MY2013 and then they no longer installed them nor was it an option, to the best of my knowledge.

 

Interesting. Didn't know about that de-contenting change.
