I'm on the hunt for a supercharged XJ and I've found one that I really like out of state but it has the front license plate holder on it. They're not required in my state and they're just God awful ugly. Has anyone removed one of these things, how many holes does it leave and can they be easily hidden?

 

These holders are installed by the dealer, in, as you mentioned, states that require a front plate. Generally, they're held in place by two self tapping screws. Therefore, you're left with two jagged holes, if you remove them.
