Hi all. I’m new to the site and wanted to ask if anyone has had same issue as I’ve just had? I’ve got an xj x351 3.0d and have had no issues until today. I was on the motorway and restricted performance came up with a red warning triangle and slowed down so I pulled over to hard shoulder. The engine sounded a bit rough so I turned it off and left it a couple of minutes. Upon restarting the light had disappeared and engine sounded fine. I continued my journey home and performance was fine and no issues. Any ideas guys and thanks in advance.

 

Modern engine have so many possibles, that its impossible to say. Only way is to read history troublecodes by diagnostic tool. (Jaguar own SDD tool show all events based on odometer value so its easy to find any history event)
