This sounds like a really bizarre question! I'm a surfer and am considering buying a new XJ; my current X30 XJ is becoming problematic...

I spoke to my dealer and they've told me that Jaguar don't do roof bars for the new XJ becuase of the panoramic roof. I've looked on the Thule website and they don't list any fitment for the new XJ.

Has anyone had any experience or managed to obtain roof bars for the new XJ range?

I have never seen nor heard of anyone doing' roof bars (racking) on a Jag.

I would bet, that if you succeed, Jaguar would use you for advertisement or fire the dealership.

Hi Bill,
I had roof bars on my X350 XJ8 4.2 sport without any problems.

I went back to the Jaguar dealer, to ask again and they were so rude and inept, I went to BMW traded the car in and went back and shoved an order under the dealers nose for a new BMW 750L .... I've also emailed it to Jag UK explaining how unimpressed I was with thier dealers service.
