SF Bay Area: 12 XJ Trade My exhaust for your oem exhaust or buy your oem exhaust
Hey All,
I have a 12 jaguar XJ with a magnaflow exhaust. i recently got the car and LOVE the way it sounds, but it is not practical for me as I am on the phone 90% of the time while driving and can barely hear the person on the other end of the line.
I would like to put the stock oem exhaust back on; and I would do a heads-up trade with you. You could hear my car before you decide. We can take it to my local shop and they will do the swap for no more than $200 which i am thinking we could split evenly. So, for $100 bucks each, we both get what we want at a pretty cheap price.
Alternatively, if you have your stock exhaust for your car and are local, I would be willing to buy it from you. Only need the mufflers.
thanks

I've got a stock exhaust in my garage that I'd like to get rid of.
It was one of several things replaced a couple years ago when Jag was repaired from being rear-ended.
The only problem was that the left side tailpipe was bent a little bit out of alignment which I thought would have been straightened out, instead of completely replaced.
But with the shop & insurance doing the repair, the goal was to make it completely un-damaged, without repaired parts, so the whole exhaust with a slightly bent tailpipe was replaced too.
