Default Shimmy in Steering Wheel

I have a 2011 XJL, 15 months old with 32,000 miles and I am noticing that when I back up and crank the wheel the steering shimmies. Anyone have the same experiece? Any suggestions?

This a common problem on the older models, I solved mine by changing the fluid to Mobil 1 ATF. It took a week or so but the problem stopped. My guess is the bushings in the rack had a sticking problem that was solved by the synthetic oil. Mine always happened at low speeds in the parking lot where the pump was turning slow and the pressure on the rack was high. The problem may have actually been in the pump design, no one knows the answer that I have heard.

Damn--it sucks that this is still happening in 2011+ models!
