Default Side vent question

the side vents which come with badges like ‘supercharged’ ‘r-Sport’ etc are the badges fixed with a plastic fitting or are they just stuck on to the side vent?

dragonalfa, there are 2 posts that go through the fender and there is a nut on the backside that holds the badge in place. 10mm?

Ok thanks I’m guessing the ones which are selling as genuine vent badges on eBay are fakes then.

I am basing this off of what I recall seeing in the service manual. I have contemplated pulling mine off and mounting some amber lights behind the grill in the center and then using that as a side turn signal repeater. That is why it sticks in my head.

I can confirm that the side vents are held on by two threaded posts with nuts and washers.

You have to remove the inner wheel well liners on each side to get to the nuts.
