Thanks very much for listing all of the features on this automobile.

I'm jealous of this sound system you are getting. I hope this type of system will
be in my next Jaguar.

I'm looking forward to 4/27 and when you get this fantastic automobile.

MPG: 49.7 combined and 0-60 : 5.9s. Must be a typo. Too bad the diesel engine is not available in the USA for 2016.

Your car appears to have almost every option, and should be gorgeous. I'm curious what other options, other than adaptive cruise, were available that you didn't order. Looking forward to your impressions, review, and pics, particularly of the interior and wood veneer.

I'm sure you're going to love it! I hope you survive the anticipation!

Thanks retriever-007,

I will try to put photos and initial impression about the look, material, drive, and ride on Wednesday evening. Then extensive review + video of the features thereafter.

Stuart S,
Thanks for the nice words.
The Autobiography is almost fully loaded. Mine has 2 options: the inclusion of wood on the steering wheel, and the Air quality sensing with Auto recirculation.
The only other option not included is the adaptive cruise control. (The car is brand new in the showroom, as soon as I saw it, I fell in love. I didn't want to wait to order a new one, but I wanted the adaptive cruise control). No other option is available as it has the rest as standard.

The seats in 2016 look identical in Autobiography and Portfolio. But there is a difference in that the leather is semi-aniline in Autobiography, and soft grain in Portfolio.

MPG 49.7 is not a typo Stuart. I used to get 40mpg in my old S320 cdi (diesel) in long runs, and averaging 33mpg.
This is a newer engine, so I expect to averaging 40mpg, and north of 50mpg in motorway driving (highway).

looks like fabulous car. From my perspective the Autobiography is today's SuperSport but with engine options. One item i did not see either on your XJ or the UK Jaguar Build site was dual view for the front passenger.

Hi XJsss,
It is not available as option. I don't know why.

I will give my proper review when I get acquainted more with the car.

But initial impression is that I am very very happy with the car.
It is simply gorgeous. The photos don't give the car any justice. For example, the ambient lighting is very nice and can't be replicated in the photos.

A detailed review will follow in the next few

Fit for The Queen! Much improved Nav and other displays, and very classy with the diamond stitch perforated leather. Pity it was a rainy day. And be very careful with those beautiful rims - not much protection with the low profile tires. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!

Very pretty indeed. All you need now is a dark tint on the windows and you will be set!
Does yours come with the chiller and champagne glasses?

Thanks Stuart. The tyres look like they are the kind that protect the rims. I will certainly upload a zoomed photo to show that.
