Is it me or is there a distinct central dead spot in the power steering system of the XJ. It almost feels like a slightly wobbly or loose joint between the wheel and the rest of the system. Maybe the dead spot is there to counteract the quick steering off center.

The car drives nice and stable, so maybe I'm hypersensitive or something.
