I had to take it and enjoyed every moment except cleaning all the bugs lol.

Car performed as expected and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S worked great.
Previous tires were Pirelli P Zero, which rode great but these new Michelins are impressive.

Turns come fast and when in "Dynamic Mode" with gear selector in "S" Sport mode the car never shifted past 4th gear.
I took the manual route and worked the paddles.

I went when they came to NC but I was too late to register and run the car. I might do the Atlanta one or wait until they come back to NC.

Obviously gravedigging here, but I noticed you have all black trim. Did you go about it yourself or is there somewhere that sells them? I've been looking to swap out my chrome for the longest time and after digging through these forums you've gotten me beyond excited to!

 

Black trim on OEM on the XJR, but I believe there have been some forum members that wrapped their trim black.

 

I had mine wrapped using Avery Vinyl Satin Black. You can purchase each piece from Jaguar but they add up really quick. My local shop wrapped all chrome except the "Supercharged" side front fender vents which were sprayed with a pro liquid wrap.
