Are two stalks behind the steering wheel illuminated?

Are two stalks behind the steering wheel illuminated?
Strange question...but I swear they are/were and now they aren't. I'm having some strange electrical issues where the car complains about the lights being on when the auto delay is set after turning the ignition off. Of course the lights are on...they're supposed to be on!
Anyways...I swear those stalks were lit up before. Maybe it's just me.

On my '11 XJL the two stalks are not illuminated, although the shift paddles and all other buttons/selectors near or on the steering wheel are illuminated. Hope this helps.
