Why not also have a look at the successor model to the X308 ? This came out in the UK in 2003, and is aluminium. US cars available from 2004 to 2009. Prices for these cars are now excellent. Style is very similar to the previous model, just a bit larger all round.

Seafoam green? I think I've seen this color only in West Hollywood and vicinity (not that I'm implying anything )

I too think the aluminum cars are better in the looks and comfort department. Just make sure the high mileage ones have had their air suspension/ transmission/tires & brakes replaced or serviced....very expensive.

BTW, what ever happened to British Racing Green on Jags?? The last time I saw one was an XK. I think it would look nice on an XJ also.

British Racing Green is still available, but as a metallic and for $1,500 unless you order an XJR and then it is a no cost option.
