Hi All


I have the 2014 xj 381 and suddenly, the Satnav says initialising when I select Satnav. When I select the radio, nothing comes up, radio does not come up, not even the beeps you normally hear.

I have checked the fuse board as 10amp red. That is working fine.

Any help is appreciated

Firstly I know nothing of the latest XJ is it not still under warranty? I've heard a reset by disconnecting the battery might help.
Hope someone comes along with a bit more knowledge.

He is likely to be just out of warranty.

My 2014 XJR went out this month 10-2017 as it was placed in service on 10-2013.

I've had the same issue on my 2001 XJ since new. The radio only works about 80% of the time. There appears to be no rhyme or reason over when it works or when it does not.

I'm having major electrical issues with my car and with only 53,000 miles the dealer has recommended that I scrap the car.
