Default XJ Sat Nav Screen change out?

Hi All:

Its been a long time since Ive posted anything from when I owned a 2004 XJ8. I now own a 2011 XJ. My question is:Has anyone had any issues with replacing their 2010-2011 radio/sat/nav screen out with a screen from a 2013 XJ. I read it is simple unplug and re-plug in and its all good. In that it has the bigger "buttons" and faster response time to the touch. My concern is if anyone has had any electrical issues or if any features stopped working due to the change out of the screens. I thank you in advance for any info on this topic.

Search for some threads as there are a few differences. One I know about is the massaging seats. Does your car have that?

I replaced the one in my 2011 XJL with a unit from a 2012. Worked perfect with zero issues. Not sure when the compatibility ended but a 2012 display is golden.
