Has any XJR owners on this forum had the 72 month service done yet, if so how much did it set you back? Mine is due in June and I checked local dealer website via my Jaguar dashboard and it quotes a cost of £1450 big gulp!! I have not spoken to them direct yet so that cost might reduce, I also have a good indy in MK but due to lock down am reluctant to use them but will contact them on Tueday.

Any suggestions help would be most appreciated.

My 2014 XJR had a 6 year 100K CPO warranty that ran out last August. Car went into service in August 2013 +6 years and it ended August 2019.
I am surprised you have any warranty left?

How many miles on the car?
Has the water pump been changed?

I don't know what Jaguar has on that list?

I have had the car 12 months and Jaguar gave me 2 years Jaguar warranty. I’ve had the water pump changed under warranty.

As for what they are doing for the money I won’t know until I speak with them tomorrow.

 

I have 110k on my SuperSport and at 6 years/96k I had the service done and it ran @ $1300 in the US. I think the spark plug replacement was the biggest single cost.

 

I’ve been in touch with dealer got the price down to £1100 inc VAT and MOT. My Indy has quoted just over half that cost inc VAT and MOT. All materials used are Jaguar and the Indy is authorised by Jaguar. So she goes in in June to have the service.
