98k miles, blue & cream, asking $4,995.

Seems too good to be true. Especially if one checks the reviews of the dealership in question.
But for that price it is very tempting, even if it had issues that needed to be fixed.

Flagship of the fleet !

Looks like a nice one. What else can you buy for the same money that even comes close?

Cheers

Price is right so it won't last long.

Very pretty. But the dealer should step up and get a new leaper for this car!

Looks like a repaint: no coachlines or lower chrome strip. The airbag door doesn't match so the airbags might have blown. A Carfax check here is a must.

Great color combo and the headliner is impressive!

There is a carnival red 96 XJ12 for sale on Phoenix Craigslist. Same one that was up for sale about 4 years ago. 118k miles. No takers yet at $4500.

Good to know there are still some nice examples out there for sale. When the mileage tops about 70k, they are really no longer valued as collectable. But that doesn't take away from the incredible driving experience, uniqueness and beauty that the last generation XJ12 offers. Owners know, that with good maintenance, that car will last way beyond 100k and continue to bring the smiles!
