I have a 96 jeep Cherokee sport I can open the doors from the inside but not the outside I took the door panels off when I look on the inside at the mechanism it looks like there is a spring broken to return the mechanism to its resting position any ideas how to fix it or where I can find parts

 

Have I missed something? I thought this was a Jaguar forum...

 

Buy a new spring maybe that will do it you must take door apart but it is probably not like a jaguar door plus the jag doors usually get stuck from the inside handle not the outside please let us know how it turns out us jaguar owners are waiting to hear back from you i wonder if maybe the mechanism is the same one
