Thank you for the input, very much appreciated. Unfortunately it sounds like it will take some time to sell, which I don't have or a place to store it. Before I try BAT, I'll try local and here on the forum first. I'll have to get some more pics after the weather clears.

Shoot video of the car moving from inside and outside, makes a huge difference with potential buyers if they can see and hear what they might be buying

Try asking on the x300 part of the forum if someone wants it. All X300 owners secretly lust after the V12, but don’t always venture into this forum!

I saw that Rustbelter just sold his 97 XJ6L on Cars & Bids. It was posted in the Marketplace here too. C&B said it was their first X300 sale and it looks like it was a success. They like listing unique cars there, and with your due diligence through all phases, it could work out very well and the process would be finished within a couple of weeks. BaT is known to take a long time to go live.

C&B seems a lot like the early version of BaT, back when it was smaller, cheaper and easier.

84k mile 94 XJ12 went for 8.5 on there in October for reference

Thankfully. Cars make for a savings account you can drive and enjoy. Got mine for $800 but had to do in frame mains and rods and pretty much almost everything else.

XJ12NV, is this car still available for sale? If so, I'm interested. Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to PM you. Maybe I don't have enough posts to have earned PM privileges.

Never saw this thread! I bought the car! There were a few more issues than I thought (headliner, radio, AC, rear dif, etc, a few dings from the transporter...ugh), but otherwise its absolutely fantastic. Ive already done the VC gaskets, lower oil pan gasket, spark plugs, and plug wires. Expect to see some youtube videos and a road trip to Monterey, CA next year for the 100th anniversary of Jaguar at Monterey car week!

I remember now, that I was wondering then, if you were the one who bought this XJ12. You described it in your intro about oil leaks but then I forgot to follow up. Did you contact the seller directly from JF here?

Well done. That trip to Monterey next year is on my radar now. That would be special.

I actually found it on Facebook Marketplace of all places. The purple caught my eye and I got peer pressured into buying it lol (From the guy I sold my beater XJ8 too). I'll be passing through according to my planned route so we could meet up!
