Default 2003 x350 simple question

Hi
My 2003 x350 has 20" wheels fitted from an xjr , one of the valves is faulty and I'm losing about 6 lbs of pressure a week.
No matter how low the tyre is I get no low tyre pressure warning on the dash, lm hoping that the tyre pressure valve sensors are not recognised by my car and came already fitted to the xjr wheels. So the question for any 2003 xj6 x350 se owners, does my car come with tyre pressure valve sensors, or can I swap them out for normal valves ?

How sure are you that your 2003 x350 has the sensor to pick up signals from wheels fitted with the pressure valve senders?
If you are not worried about having the special valve inserts in the wheels just replace them with normal valves. The tire that deflates is apparently either not sending anything to pick up or it is and you do not have the option fitted in your car.

i was hoping that someone with the same age x350 might be able to tell me if that the tyre pressure sensor option was not fitted to my car just to be sure, i would think that this is the case as faulty sensor not sending a signal would bring a warning up on the dash , i think i shall deflate each tyre 1 at a time and see what happens

2003-2007 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas TPMS Tire Pressure Control Module 5W93-1560-CB

Do a search on Ebay for the above. This is what the module looks like and I believe it is located in the boot somewhere. If no one else can help here maybe you could look for this module. May mean taking out some liner panels.

The other possible option is to decode your VIN. If the option was installed originally it should show up.

I believe tpms came fitted to the us spec 2006 and later.

Not sure about uk versions, guessing 05 and up.

Thanks
