2003 XJR grill
I bought a 2003 XJR (350) last week. There are a few faults and some rough paintwork. My question is what should the standard grill look like?
The grill fitted has a black plastic mesh, which looks like someone has crudely sprayed silver.

I think I answered my own question. From Web searches, it looks like it should be a wire mesh grill. Looks like a previous owner had it dipped in black plastic, then another sprayed it silver.
My solution was to burn it off over charcoal. Then wire brush it.
