Default 2004 facelift

Hi.
Just swabbed my S-Type for a 2004 XJ8, and I would really like to mount the 2008 bigger bumpers and grille.

Is this a difficult job and is there anywhere to get the parts second hand?

Cheers

I liked the cleaner look as well.

I purchased mine off Ebay. The 2008-09 plastic bumper brackets are longer. I made spacers and used longer bolts to make up the differnce.

The driving lights are costly and you will need to move the ACC Module.

The bumper covers are the biggest part. The maker lights, lower grill and driving lights are different for the 2008-09 models.

The upper grill is also different but your 2004 grill will work, the badge is different.

Some 2008-09 models had headlight washer squirters and front parking sensors that your car may not be equipped with, but a body man can fill those prior to paint.

I think I covered most everything I did. mine was done about 4 years ago.

I also added the rear spoiler to the deck lid.

Good Luck,
