Hello all

New owner of a beautiful 2004 VDP. Love the car, except the pax side headlight seems to turn on only when it feels like it! I've actually swapped out the whole headlight assembly, but they both seem to do the same thing...Turn on sometimes, but remain off no matter what the headlight switch setting is.

Anyone come across a similar issue?

Yes, I found that the ground terminal was cracked. I bumped it while removing the light assy and it fell-off. I relocated the ground cables to the top headlight mount with no problems thus far.

 

Thanks for your response! For me it turned out to be the bulb assembly--which I recycled between the old headlight assembly and the new. I think the ignitor was bad.
