2004 XJ8 coolant expansion tank replacement

the nipple broke off my coolant tank,is this a DIY job,any idea whats involved,also what is the best brand of aftermarket? or should I go with OEM

Thanks Wingrider,one more question,is there a O ring that you should changed on the hose with the metal clip that attachs to the tank

Not on mine, just don't loose that metal snap ring.
