I was wondering if anyone had any information or experiences of installing a back up camera and keeping the original navigation Screen.

Also, I am aware people have upgraded the interface on the Navigation System to a more modern software. I would appreciate any information, Thank you.

I used the Navtool product to install a rear view camera as well as a DVD system all linked to the original head unit.

Quite a bit of info in this forum on linking in that particular product into the head unit thru rear cable/wires.

 

Just need a video interface. Usually you will have two to three inputs. So can add back up cam and other components. Ive done it to mine easily
