2004 XJR Suspension Question

At first I thought this was just in my head, as I've only had my XJR for a short time. But, I took out a tape measure and measured from the top of the rims to the bottom of the fenderwells, and sure enough the front right is sitting 1/4 in. lower. Has anyone ever faced this? Is this a problem with the CATS?
I just wanted to ask before I called the dealership (and also to take advantage of my new Jaguarforums membership!). Any information I can be "armed with" before calling would be great.

It sounds like you have a faulty air shock to me. It isn't uncommon for them to fail so I would get back to the dealer asap.
If it were the compressor by the way, then all 4 corners would be down.
Good luck.

That's pretty good that you were able to detect only a 1/4" variance. It's possible that your suspension just needs to be adjusted. Ride height can be measured and set for each corner independently by the dealer. That's how you can lower the car too by inputing ride height figures that are higher than the actual number. The car's on board computer will compensate back to the factory settings.
