2005 radio amp part#C2C25736
So the back speakers quit. The front is ok. Turns out I need a new amp. Dealer want $1,400.00 new. WoW! So does anybody know of an after market unit or a repair station that can repair these units? Anyway I am open to ideas. Thanks for any input.
There are no after-market units available, mostly due to the very odd optical audio system Jaguar uses in these cars.
Bring the unit to any local tv/audio repair shop and they may be able to swap the bad IC - they use standard TDA power amps.
Also keep an eye on ebay and local junkyards as used units pop up eventually.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market usually turns up amplifiers (last time I checked for someone else) in the $125-$150 range for the cheapest. Not bad!
Good news everyone. The tech was wrong. Did some testing and it turned out to be bad spekers in the rear door. Replaced them and it all works fine. Thanks to all for your help and input.
