2005 Vanden Plas
I have an '05 Vanden Plas with 151k on the clock. Car is wonderful. I live in Connecticut and the temperature just took a drastic turn in the downward direction it was 12 degrees F this morning. I have been getting intermittent "air suspension fault" messages every once in a while whilst driving but did not see any ride issues and car sat where it should. This morning though it would not rise up and I also got a "vehicle too low" message.
I drove to work slowly and felt every little ridge in the road. I just went out after 3 hours of the car sitting in the sun and temp is about 16 degrees F. I started car and vehicle was still too low but after three minutes it rose up and all is well.
Thoughts??

Do some research in this forum lots of information. Not uncommon problem for low suspension issue in cold temperatures.

Thank you. There seems to be a wealth of info on this topic and I am glad to hear this is possibly not too major of a problem. I will struggle through this winter and when the weather warms up I can do some work on this.
Too friggin' cold outside now to do anything.
